Heart risk factor check
This screen is designed to assess and identify specific risk
factors which are thought to be linked with coronary, heart and
circulatory diseases. The complete screen consists of two visits to
the hospital, the first for the series of investigations lasting
approximately 30- minutes and the second for a consultation and
discussion concerning your results and lifestyle, lasting
approximately 45-minutes.
- Resting electrocardiograph
- Blood pressure and pulse
- Height and weight
- Lung function test
- Biochemistry and Haematology analysis of the blood
- Consultation and discussion with a Medical Practitioner
- Chest X-ray (aged 55 or over and/or smokers and requested by
Healthscreen doctor) at an additional charge
